I mean, I, come on, you got a T-shirt with blood-stains all over it, maybe laundry isn't your biggest problem right now...Maybe you oughtta get the harpoon out your chest first.

| koolsk8ter0013 (4:20:24 AM): and I feel like I should apologize to you. koolsk8ter0013 (4:22:19 AM): for trying to convert you, for falling in love with you and hoping you would fall in love with me, for writing songs to you, for doing everything to make you love me that turned into pain when I asked you to change who you are. koolsk8ter0013 (4:23:41 AM): I'm sorry for trying to redefine who you are, and acting like I had that authority simply because I loved you. You are yourself, were yourself before I knew you, and I should not have expected to change that | | |
| its very different not having a boyfriend, let alone one back home. i spent so much of my time waiting and looking into the future. now i have nothing to look forward to but uncertainty. im being forced to live inthe moment.

ps-divore IS undermining marriage way more than gay marriage is.

| college makes me smile. ive met some ridiculous people. good ridiculous. bad ridiculous. entertainingly ridiculous. im actually starting to love it here. i still miss kc though. i have to make myself not look at photo albums on facebook from kc or sion. they make me sad. i miss my skirt. i miss my chrissy and my diana. i miss those people i saw every day but i didnt actually create deep bonds with. i miss their faces. i miss the comfort of home. makenzie, my mom, my little brother, ernest, and lawrence will all be here this weekend! im so excited. im learning to skateboard. my public art teacher misses the same belt loop everyday. i want to curl up with matthias during a thunderstorm. that boy keeps getting more amazing. the other day he sent me a computer program he created for me. it made me smile. i might be going to new york at the end of the month. im definetely going to visit kt at MICA the first weekend in november. i am happy. my roommate tasha anne, kaia, and i
so i uh, met dane cook.
maureen came to visit me a couple weekends ago! it was sweet.
this is how i sleep now. smiling.
yeah, im a dork. deal with it. -erika! ps- this was a long-ish post. dont expect another one for quite awhile, haha.
| i found this interesting 10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong
01) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
02) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
03) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
04) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
05) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
06) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
07) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
08) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
09) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans
